Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), is a Public sector undertaking registered under the Indian Companies Act 2013 as a Section 8 ‘Not for profit Company’, as an interface agency of Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology.
BIRAC intends to engage an agency for providing Group Personal Accident Insurance with coverage of Rs. 20 lacs (Rupees Twenty Lacs only) for each employee. BIRAC at present has an approximate headcount of 80 (Eighty).
The indicative list of benefits under Group Personal Accident Insurance is as below:
- Accidental Death - 100% of the Sum Insured
- Accidental Permanent Total Disability - 100% of the Sum Insured
- Accidental Permanent Partial Disability - Yes
- Temporary Total Disability - 1% of Sum Insured or INR 10000 per week
- Variable Medical Expenses - 10% of Sum Insured or 40 % of admissible claim or Actual Last Rite - Covered
- Terrorism - Covered
Apart from the above, any other additional benefits/features provided by your agency shall also be indicated.
The interested agencies may share their willingness to participate in this Limited Tender Enquiry through e-mail on hra@birac.nic.in latest by 09th July 2022, cob. Interested proponents shall be invited for a presentation in presence of designated Committee on a stipulated date and time which will be communicated by BIRAC in due course of time.
Kindly note that only agencies who share their willingness shall be communicated to be present for presentation session.
