A plant ingredients based hemostatic formulation and process of manufacturing that can render multiple hemostaic product formats like sponge, granules, sheet and spray for multiple clinical setting. Sponge and sheet are designed for heavy bleeding and surgical setting. Granules and spray are designed for minor to moderate bleeding for superficial injuries. Product is best indicated for venous bleeding but can be used for arterial bleeding in the hands of proper expert in clinical setting. Trial with small animal rats and rabbits are done with satisfactory results TRL-5 .

USP: Plant based formulation: without any risk of animal pathogen,viruses and prions. High initial strength of the clot. Clot can be dissolve in situ in much shorter time than gelfoam, oxidized cellulose. No multi-nucleated cells around hemostat sponge/ granule. Clot need not be removed surgically like chitosan/ inorganic clay based hemostats.
