Title: ? An advanced bioactive glass material of unique composition was synthesized via wet chemical sol-gel route. ? Naturally available highly biocompatible polymer called alginate is used to fabricate socket fit mould. ? Lyophilization technique was followed to remove water and to avoid microbiological infections on the product. This strategy falicitates long term storage of the product. ? The developed product was tested for in-vitro bio-mineralization studies using simulated body fluid and in-vitro degradation studies using phosphate buffer solution. ? The erythrocyte compatibility and hemostatic performance of the product are evaluated and reported that product encourage the blood clot less than 2 minutes. ? The anti-bacterial performance of the product is tested against gram-positive Escherichia coli and gram-negative Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. ?
