- Description: The systems unique feature is a single full-body PPE suit with an in-built facial shield, coverall, and foot cover. The developed system is easy to don wear and doff remove . This is because the number of steps in donning and doffing has been reduced considerably compared to other prevalent technologies. It also minimizes the risk of infection while doffing because the user does not have to contact the infected outer part of the PPE after its usage. The system has an inbuilt and chargeable powered air purifying system which sends filtered air inside the full-body PPE suit. The air maintains positive pressure inside the PPE suit and removes the usage of the N95 mask, thereby avoiding facial injuries to the users facial pressure sores . The respirator also provides a comfortable supply of air which restricts sweating and dehydration. The innovative facial shield design gives a full frontal view and is helpful while performing delicate tasks in an ICU setting. The user can easily use our product for up to 8 hours in a hospital setting.
