LAMP kit
The developed LAMP kit is a point of care testing device which can be used a s a bed side technique for the rapid detection of HLA-B*15:02 allele in persons with epilepsy. It can be used as a rapid method for the detection of HLA-B*15:02 allele and the results are obtained within no time thereby testing the presence or absence of this allele in patient before the initiating of antiepileptics and hence avoiding the serious life threatening cutaneous adverse reactions.
USP: Our developed kit can be used as a point of care testing device for the rapid detection of HLA-B*15:02 allele in persons with epilepsy so that the particular allele may be tested before the initiation of antiepileptic drugs thereby saving the life of the person by avoiding the serious cutaneous drug reactions.
